⁵ Therefore ^(A)do not go on ^[a]passing judgment before ^[b]the time, but wait ^(B)until the Lord comes who will both ^(C)bring to light the things hidden in the darkness and disclose the motives of men’s hearts; and then each man’s ^(D)praise will come to him from God.

¹² There is only one ^(A)Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is ^(B)able to save and to destroy; but ^(C)who are you who judge your neighbor?

⁵ but they will give account to Him who is ready to judge ^(A)the living and the dead.
