8 So then, let us celebrate the feast, not with the old leaven or with the leaven of wickedness and sinfulness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in the letter not to associate with sexually immoral people. 10 By no means did I mean the sexually immoral people of this world or the greedy people and swindlers or idolaters, since then you would have to depart out of the world.

8 Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread(A) of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote to you in my letter not to associate(B) with sexually immoral people— 10 not at all meaning the people of this world(C) who are immoral, or the greedy and swindlers, or idolaters. In that case you would have to leave this world.
