1 Corinthians 6:15-20

¹⁵Do you not know that ^(A)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! ¹⁶Or do you not know that he who is joined^[a] to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, ^(B)“The two will become one flesh.” ¹⁷But he who is joined to the Lord ^(C)becomes one spirit with him. ¹⁸^(D)Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin^[b] a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person ^(E)sins against his own body. ¹⁹Or ^(F)do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? ^(G)You are not your own, ²⁰^(H)for you were bought with a price. ^(I)So glorify God in your body.

¹⁵Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself?^(A) Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! ¹⁶Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”^[a]^(B) ¹⁷But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.^[b]^(C)

¹⁸Flee from sexual immorality.^(D) All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.^(E) ¹⁹Do you not know that your bodies are temples^(F) of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;^(G) ²⁰you were bought at a price.^(H) Therefore honor God with your bodies.^(I)
