1 Corinthians 7:18-20
New Life Version
18 If a man became a Christian after he had gone through the religious act of becoming a Jew, he should do nothing about it. If a man became a Christian before, he should not go through the religious act of becoming a Jew. 19 If it is done or not done, it means nothing. What is important is to obey God’s Word. 20 Everyone should stay the same way he was when he became a Christian.

18 Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man uncircumcised when he was called? He should not be circumcised.(A) 19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing.(B) Keeping God’s commands is what counts. 20 Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.(C)
