1 Corinthians 7:7-9

7 I wish all of you were like me, but God has given different gifts to each of us.
8 My advice for the unmarried and for widows is that it is acceptable for them to remain single, just as I am. 9 But if you don't have enough self-control, then go ahead and get married. After all, it is better to marry than to burn with desire.[a]

New International Version
7 I wish that all of you were as I am.(A) But each of you has your own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.(B)
8 Now to the unmarried[a] and the widows I say: It is good for them to stay unmarried, as I do.(C) 9 But if they cannot control themselves, they should marry,(D) for it is better to marry than to burn with passion.
