1 Corinthians 8:5-7
Disciples’ Literal New Testament
5 For even if-indeed there are ones being called gods, whether in heaven or on earth— as-indeed there are many[a] gods and many lords— 6 yet for us there is One God the Father, from Whom are all things, and we are[b] for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, through Whom are all things, and we are through Him. 7 But this knowledge is not in all people. But some, by the accustomed-habit[c] of the idol until now, eat this food as[d] food-sacrificed-to-an-idol. And their conscience, being weak, is stained[e].

New International Version
5 For even if there are so-called gods,(A) whether in heaven or on earth (as indeed there are many “gods” and many “lords”), 6 yet for us there is but one God,(B) the Father,(C) from whom all things came(D) and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord,(E) Jesus Christ, through whom all things came(F) and through whom we live.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge.(G) Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak,(H) it is defiled.
