1 Corinthians 8:6-8
New American Standard Bible
6 yet for us (A)there is only one God, (B)the Father, (C)from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and (D)one Lord, Jesus Christ, (E)by whom are all things, and we exist through Him.
7 However, not all people (F)have this knowledge; but (G)some, being accustomed to the idol until now, eat food as if it were sacrificed to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled. 8 Now (H)food will not bring us [a]close to God; we are neither [b]the worse if we do not eat, nor [c]the better if we do eat.

New International Version
6 yet for us there is but one God,(A) the Father,(B) from whom all things came(C) and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord,(D) Jesus Christ, through whom all things came(E) and through whom we live.
7 But not everyone possesses this knowledge.(F) Some people are still so accustomed to idols that when they eat sacrificial food they think of it as having been sacrificed to a god, and since their conscience is weak,(G) it is defiled. 8 But food does not bring us near to God;(H) we are no worse if we do not eat, and no better if we do.
