²⁴Don’t you know that the runners in a stadium all race,^(A) but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way to win the prize.^(B)

New International Version

²⁴Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?^(A) Run^(B) in such a way as to get the prize.

¹⁴I pursue as my goal the prize promised by God’s heavenly^[a] call in Christ Jesus.^(A)

¹⁴I press on^(A) toward the goal to win the prize^(B) for which God has called^(C) me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
