3 that which we have seen and heard we proclaim also to you, so that you may have fellowship[a] with us; and our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ. 4 And we are writing this that our[b] joy may be complete.

5 This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light and in him is no darkness[c] at all.
