16 For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh,(A) the lust of the eyes,(B) and the pride(C) in one’s possessions—is not from the Father, but is from the world. 17 And the world with its lust is passing away,(D) but the one who does the will of God(E) remains forever.(F)
The Last Hour
18 Children, it is the last hour.(G) And as you have heard that antichrist(H) is coming, even now many antichrists have come. By this we know that it is the last hour.

Warnings Against Denying the Son
18 Dear children, this is the last hour;(E) and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming,(F) even now many antichrists have come.(G) This is how we know it is the last hour.
