^25 (A)For he has gone down today and has sacrificed oxen and fattened steers and sheep in abundance, and has invited all the king’s sons, the commanders of the army, and Abiathar the priest, and behold, they are eating and drinking in his presence; and they say, ‘^(B)Long live King Adonijah!’

³⁴ And have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet ^(A)anoint him there as king over Israel, and ^(B)blow the trumpet and say, ‘^(C)Long live King Solomon!’

³⁹ And Zadok the priest then ^(A)took the horn of oil from the tent and ^(B)anointed Solomon. Then they ^(C)blew the trumpet, and all the people said, “^(D)Long live King Solomon!”
