1 Kings 1:7-9
New American Standard Bible
7 Now [a]he had conferred with (A)Joab the son of Zeruiah and with (B)Abiathar the priest; and they allied themselves with (C)Adonijah. 8 But (D)Zadok the priest, (E)Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, (F)Nathan the prophet, (G)Shimei, Rei, and (H)the mighty men who belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.
9 Adonijah sacrificed sheep, oxen, and fattened steers by the [b]stone of Zoheleth, which is beside (I)En-rogel; and he invited all his brothers, the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah, the king’s servants.

7 Adonijah conferred with Joab(A) son of Zeruiah and with Abiathar(B) the priest, and they gave him their support. 8 But Zadok(C) the priest, Benaiah(D) son of Jehoiada, Nathan(E) the prophet, Shimei(F) and Rei and David’s special guard(G) did not join Adonijah.
9 Adonijah then sacrificed sheep, cattle and fattened calves at the Stone of Zoheleth near En Rogel.(H) He invited all his brothers, the king’s sons,(I) and all the royal officials of Judah,
