22 For the King had on the sea the navy of Tarshish with the navy of Hiram: once in three years came the navy of [a]Tarshish, and brought gold and silver, ivory, and apes and peacocks.
23 So King Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth both in riches and in wisdom.
24 And all the world sought to see Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart,

New International Version
22 The king had a fleet of trading ships[a](A) at sea along with the ships(B) of Hiram. Once every three years it returned, carrying gold, silver and ivory, and apes and baboons.
23 King Solomon was greater in riches(C) and wisdom(D) than all the other kings of the earth. 24 The whole world sought audience with Solomon to hear the wisdom(E) God had put in his heart.
