25 He was an adversary of Israel all the days of Solomon, doing harm as Hadad did. And he loathed Israel and reigned over Syria.
26 (A)Jeroboam the son of Nebat, (B)an Ephraimite of Zeredah, a servant of Solomon, whose mother's name was Zeruah, a widow, also (C)lifted up his hand against the king. 27 And this was the reason why he lifted up his hand against the king. (D)Solomon built the Millo, and closed up the breach of the city of David his father.

New International Version
25 Rezon was Israel’s adversary as long as Solomon lived, adding to the trouble caused by Hadad. So Rezon ruled in Aram(A) and was hostile toward Israel.
Jeroboam Rebels Against Solomon
26 Also, Jeroboam son of Nebat rebelled(B) against the king. He was one of Solomon’s officials, an Ephraimite from Zeredah, and his mother was a widow named Zeruah.
27 Here is the account of how he rebelled against the king: Solomon had built the terraces[a](C) and had filled in the gap in the wall of the city of David his father.
