5 Solomon followed Astarte the goddess of the Sidonians, and Milcom the detestable god of the Ammonites. 6 Solomon did what was evil in the Lord’s eyes and wasn’t completely devoted to the Lord like his father David. 7 On the hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a shrine to Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and to Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites.

5 He followed Ashtoreth(A) the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molek(B) the detestable god of the Ammonites. 6 So Solomon did evil(C) in the eyes of the Lord; he did not follow the Lord completely, as David his father had done.
7 On a hill east(D) of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh(E) the detestable god of Moab, and for Molek(F) the detestable god of the Ammonites.
