Names of God Bible
8 He did these things for each of his foreign wives who burned incense and sacrificed to their gods.
God Pronounces Judgment on Solomon
9 So Yahweh became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned from Yahweh Elohim of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. 10 God had given him commands about this. He told him not to follow other gods. But Solomon did not obey Yahweh’s command.

8 He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.
9 The Lord became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the Lord, the God of Israel, who had appeared(A) to him twice. 10 Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods,(B) Solomon did not keep the Lord’s command.(C)
