31 And (A)he made houses on high places, and [a](B)appointed priests from [b]all the people who were not of the sons of Levi. 32 Jeroboam also [c]instituted a feast in the eighth month on the fifteenth day of the month, (C)like the feast that is in Judah, and he [d]went up to the altar. So he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves which he had made. And he stationed in Bethel (D)the priests of the high places which he had made.

New International Version
31 Jeroboam built shrines(A) on high places and appointed priests(B) from all sorts of people, even though they were not Levites. 32 He instituted a festival on the fifteenth day of the eighth(C) month, like the festival held in Judah, and offered sacrifices on the altar. This he did in Bethel,(D) sacrificing to the calves he had made. And at Bethel he also installed priests at the high places he had made.
