⁶ The king said to the man of God, “Please ^[a](A)entreat the Lord your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.” So ^(B)the man of God ^[b]entreated the Lord, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and it became as it was before.

¹⁹ Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him to death? Did he not ^(A)fear the Lord and entreat the favor of the Lord, and ^(B)the Lord ^[a]changed His mind about the misfortune which He had pronounced against them? But we are ^(C)committing a great evil against ourselves.”

²¹ The inhabitants of one will go to another, saying, “Let us go at once to ^(A)entreat the favor of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of hosts; ^[a]I will also go.”
