20 Ben-hadad listened to King Asa and sent the commanders of his armies against the cities of Israel. He conquered Ijon, Dan, Abel-beth-maacah, and all Chinneroth, with all the land of Naphtali.(A) 21 When Baasha heard of it, he stopped building Ramah and lived in Tirzah. 22 Then King Asa made a proclamation to all Judah; none was exempt: they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber with which Baasha had been building; with them King Asa built Geba of Benjamin and Mizpah.(B)

He conquered(A) Ijon, Dan, Abel Beth Maakah and all Kinnereth in addition to Naphtali. 21 When Baasha heard this, he stopped building Ramah(B) and withdrew to Tirzah.(C) 22 Then King Asa issued an order to all Judah—no one was exempt—and they carried away from Ramah(D) the stones and timber Baasha had been using there. With them King Asa(E) built up Geba(F) in Benjamin, and also Mizpah.(G)
