18 He answered, ‘I have not troubled Israel; but you have, and your father’s house, because you have forsaken the commandments of the Lord and followed the Baals. 19 Now therefore have all Israel assemble for me at Mount Carmel, with the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.’

20 So Ahab sent to all the Israelites, and assembled the prophets at Mount Carmel.

18 “I have not made trouble for Israel,” Elijah replied. “But you(A) and your father’s family have. You have abandoned(B) the Lord’s commands and have followed the Baals. 19 Now summon(C) the people from all over Israel to meet me on Mount Carmel.(D) And bring the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.”(E)
