28 And they cried loud, and cut themselves as their manner was, with knives and lancers, till the blood gushed out upon them.

29 And when midday was passed, and they had prophesied until the offering of the evening sacrifice, there was neither voice, nor one to answer, nor any that regarded.

30 And Elijah said unto all the people, Come to me. And all the people came to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.

28 So they shouted louder and slashed(A) themselves with swords and spears, as was their custom, until their blood flowed. 29 Midday passed, and they continued their frantic prophesying until the time for the evening sacrifice.(B) But there was no response, no one answered, no one paid attention.(C)

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar(D) of the Lord, which had been torn down.
