1 Kings 18:30-32
The Voice
Elijah (to the people): 30 Gather around me.
So all the people gathered around him, and he fixed the Eternal’s altar that had been torn down. 31 Elijah gathered 12 stones, one for each of Jacob’s tribes. Jacob was the one who wrestled with God and whom the word of the Eternal One visited, saying, “Your name will be Israel.”
32 Elijah took the 12 stones and constructed an altar in honor of the Eternal One and carved a ditch out around it large enough to hold 13 quarts of seed.

New International Version
30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar(A) of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.”(B) 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name(C) of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs[a] of seed.
