¹⁰ And he said, “^(A)I have been very zealous for the Lord, the God of armies; for the sons of Israel have abandoned Your covenant, ^(B)torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. And ^(C)I alone am left; and they have sought to take my life.”

¹⁶ He set up the altar of the Lord and sacrificed ^(A)peace offerings and thanksgiving offerings on it; and he ordered Judah to serve the Lord God of Israel.
