15 And Yahweh said to him, “Go, return on your way to the wilderness of Damascus, and you will arrive and (A)anoint Hazael king over Aram; 16 and (B)Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall anoint king over Israel; and (C)Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place. 17 And it will be that the (D)one who escapes from the sword of Hazael, Jehu (E)shall put to death, and the one who escapes from the sword of Jehu, Elisha shall put to death.

15 The Lord said to him, “Go back the way you came, and go to the Desert of Damascus. When you get there, anoint Hazael(A) king over Aram. 16 Also, anoint(B) Jehu son of Nimshi king over Israel, and anoint Elisha(C) son of Shaphat from Abel Meholah(D) to succeed you as prophet. 17 Jehu will put to death any who escape the sword of Hazael,(E) and Elisha will put to death any who escape the sword of Jehu.(F)
