¹¹^(A)He had been king of Israel for forty years, ruling seven years in Hebron and thirty-three years in Jerusalem.

¹¹He had reigned^(A) forty years over Israel—seven years in Hebron and thirty-three in Jerusalem.

⁴^(A)All six were born in Hebron during the seven and a half years that David ruled there.

In Jerusalem he ruled as king for thirty-three years,

⁴These six were born to David in Hebron,^(A) where he reigned seven years and six months.^(B)

David reigned in Jerusalem thirty-three years,
