12 ¶ (A) Then sat Solomon upon the throne of David his father, and his kingdom was established mightily.
13 And Adonijah the son of Haggith came to Bathsheba the mother of Solomon: and she said, [a]Comest thou peaceably? and he said, Yea.
14 He said moreover, I have a suit unto thee. And she said, Say on.

12 So Solomon sat on the throne(A) of his father David, and his rule was firmly established.(B)
Solomon’s Throne Established
13 Now Adonijah,(C) the son of Haggith, went to Bathsheba, Solomon’s mother. Bathsheba asked him, “Do you come peacefully?”(D)
He answered, “Yes, peacefully.” 14 Then he added, “I have something to say to you.”
“You may say it,” she replied.
