16 Now therefore I ask thee one request, [a]refuse me not. And she said unto him, Say on.
17 And he said, Speak, I pray thee, unto Solomon the King, (for he will not say thee nay) that he give me Abishag the Shunammite to wife.
18 And Bathsheba said, Well, I will speak for thee unto the King.

“You may make it,” she said.
17 So he continued, “Please ask King Solomon—he will not refuse you—to give me Abishag(A) the Shunammite as my wife.”
18 “Very well,” Bathsheba replied, “I will speak to the king for you.”
