45 But king Solomon shall be blessed, and the throne of David shall be established before Jehovah for ever. 46 So the king commanded Benaiah the son of Jehoiada; and he went out, and fell upon him, so that he died. And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon.

45 But King Solomon will be blessed, and David’s throne will remain secure(A) before the Lord forever.”
46 Then the king gave the order to Benaiah(B) son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck Shimei(C) down and he died.
The kingdom was now established(D) in Solomon’s hands.
