War with Aram

20 Now ^(A)Ben-hadad, king of Aram, gathered all his army, ^(B)and there were thirty-two kings with him, and horses and chariots. And he went up and ^(C)besieged Samaria, and fought against it.

¹⁶ They went out at noon, while ^(A)Ben-hadad was drinking himself drunk in the ^[a]temporary shelters ^[b]with the thirty-two kings who were helping him.

²⁴ Carry out this ^[a]plan: remove the kings, each from his place, and put governors in their place,

³⁰ Now the king of Aram had commanded the commanders of his chariots, saying, “Do not fight with the small or great, but only with the king of Israel.”
