1 Kings 4:26-28
New Living Translation
26 Solomon had 4,000[a] stalls for his chariot horses, and he had 12,000 horses.[b]
27 The district governors faithfully provided food for King Solomon and his court; each made sure nothing was lacking during the month assigned to him. 28 They also brought the necessary barley and straw for the royal horses in the stables.

New International Version
26 Solomon had four[a] thousand stalls for chariot horses,(A) and twelve thousand horses.[b]
27 The district governors,(B) each in his month, supplied provisions for King Solomon and all who came to the king’s table. They saw to it that nothing was lacking. 28 They also brought to the proper place their quotas of barley and straw for the chariot horses and the other horses.
