²⁹On the walls^(A) all around the temple, in both the inner and outer rooms, he carved cherubim,^(B) palm trees and open flowers.

²⁹And he carved all the walls of the house round about with carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, within and without.

⁶They smashed all the carved^(A) paneling
with their axes and hatchets.

⁶But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.

¹⁸were carved^(A) cherubim^(B) and palm trees.^(C) Palm trees alternated with cherubim. Each cherub had two faces:^(D)

¹⁸And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;
