16 For the top of each column, he also made a bronze cap just over two meters high. 17 The caps were decorated with seven rows of designs that looked like chains,[a] 18 with two rows of designs that looked like pomegranates.[b]

16 He also made two capitals(A) of cast bronze to set on the tops of the pillars; each capital was five cubits[a] high. 17 A network of interwoven chains adorned the capitals on top of the pillars, seven for each capital. 18 He made pomegranates in two rows[b] encircling each network to decorate the capitals on top of the pillars.[c] He did the same for each capital.
