The Reservoir

23 He made the cast metal reservoir,[a](A) 15 feet[b] from brim to brim, perfectly round. It was 7½ feet[c] high and 45 feet[d] in circumference. 24 Ornamental gourds(B) encircled it below the brim, 10 every half yard,[e] completely encircling the reservoir.(C) The gourds were cast in two rows when the reservoir was cast. 25 It stood on 12 oxen,(D) three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. The reservoir was on top of them and all their hindquarters were toward the center.

23 He made the Sea(A) of cast metal, circular in shape, measuring ten cubits from rim to rim and five cubits high. It took a line(B) of thirty cubits[a] to measure around it. 24 Below the rim, gourds encircled it—ten to a cubit. The gourds were cast in two rows in one piece with the Sea.

25 The Sea stood on twelve bulls,(C) three facing north, three facing west, three facing south and three facing east. The Sea rested on top of them, and their hindquarters were toward the center.
