The Two Bronze Columns^(A)

¹⁵ Huram cast two bronze columns, each one 27 feet tall and 18 feet in circumference,^[a] and placed them at the entrance of the Temple. ¹⁶ He also made two bronze capitals, each one 7½ feet tall, to be placed on top of the columns. ¹⁷ The top of each column was decorated with a design of interwoven chains^[b]
