² All the people of Israel assembled to King Solomon at the festival in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.^(A)

¹⁸ On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I give this land, from the river of Egypt to the great river, the River Euphrates,^(A)

³⁴ “Speak to the Israelites, saying: On the fifteenth day of this seventh month and lasting seven days, there shall be the Festival of Booths^[a] to the Lord.^(A)

⁸ from Mount Hor you shall mark it out to Lebo-hamath, and the outer limit of the boundary shall be at Zedad;^(A)

⁵ and the land of the Gebalites, and all Lebanon, toward the east, from Baal-gad below Mount Hermon to Lebo-hamath,

⁸ At that time Solomon held the festival for seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from Lebo-hamath to the Wadi of Egypt.^(A)
