Good News Translation
39 hear their prayer. Listen to them in your home in heaven, forgive them, and help them. You alone know the thoughts of the human heart. Deal with each person as he deserves, 40 so that your people may obey you all the time they live in the land which you gave to our ancestors.

39 then hear(A) from heaven, your dwelling place. Forgive(B) and act; deal with everyone according to all they do, since you know(C) their hearts (for you alone know every human heart), 40 so that they will fear(D) you all the time they live in the land(E) you gave our ancestors.
