⁶⁴ On the same day the king set apart as holy the middle of the court that was before the house of Yahweh, because there he ^[a]offered the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat of the peace offerings; for ^(A)the bronze altar that was before Yahweh was too small to hold the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat of the peace offerings.

² Then David completed offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings. And he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh.

³ He also appointed ^(A)the king’s portion of his goods for the burnt offerings, namely, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the appointed times, ^(B)as it is written in the law of Yahweh.
