⁶⁴ On the same day the king consecrated the middle of the court that was before the house of the Lord, because there he ^[a]offered the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat of the peace offerings; for ^(A)the bronze altar that was before the Lord was too small to hold the burnt offering and the grain offering and the fat of the peace offerings.

² When David had finished offering the burnt offering and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the Lord.

³ He also appointed ^(A)the king’s portion of his goods for the burnt offerings, namely, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths and for the new moons and for the fixed festivals, ^(B)as it is written in the law of the Lord.
