65 At that time, Solomon and the big crowd of Israelites who were with him had a festival for seven days.[a] They gave honour to the Lord our God. There were people from everywhere in Israel, from Hamath in the north to the Stream of Egypt in the south. 66 The day after the festival, Solomon sent the people away to their homes. They thanked God for the king and were very happy. They were full of joy because the Lord had done many good things for his servant David and for his people, the Israelites.

65 So Solomon observed the festival(A) at that time, and all Israel with him—a vast assembly, people from Lebo Hamath(B) to the Wadi of Egypt.(C) They celebrated it before the Lord our God for seven days and seven days more, fourteen days in all. 66 On the following day he sent the people away. They blessed the king and then went home, joyful and glad in heart for all the good(D) things the Lord had done for his servant David and his people Israel.
