27 Hiram sent his own servants ⌞who were⌟ experienced seamen with the fleet. Along with Solomon’s servants 28 they went to Ophir, got 31,500 pounds of gold, and brought it to King Solomon.

New International Version
27 And Hiram sent his men—sailors(A) who knew the sea—to serve in the fleet with Solomon’s men. 28 They sailed to Ophir(B) and brought back 420 talents[a] of gold,(C) which they delivered to King Solomon.
