⁴ As for you, ^(A)if you walk before Me as your father David walked, in integrity of heart and honesty, acting in accordance with everything that I have commanded you, and if you keep My statutes and My ordinances,

⁸ and ^(A)tore the kingdom away from the house of David and gave it to you—^(B)yet you have not been like My servant David, who kept My commandments and followed Me with all his heart, ^(C)to do only that which was right in My sight;

⁶ They were both ^(A)righteous in the sight of God, walking ^(B)blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of the Lord.
