4 Come to him, a living stone, though rejected by mortals yet chosen and precious in God’s sight, and 5 like living stones let yourselves be built[b] into a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.(B)

4 As you come to him, the living Stone(B)—rejected by humans but chosen by God(C) and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built(D) into a spiritual house[a](E) to be a holy priesthood,(F) offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.(G)
