1 Samuel 10:18-20

18 and he said to the sons of Israel, “(A)Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, ‘I brought Israel up from Egypt, and I delivered you from the hand of the Egyptians and from the [a]power of all the kingdoms that were oppressing you.’ 19 But you (B)have today rejected your God, who delivers you from all your calamities and your distresses; yet you have [b]said, ‘No, but set a king over us!’ Now therefore, (C)present yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and by your clans.”
20 Thus Samuel brought all the tribes of Israel near, and the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot.

18 and said to them, “This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: ‘I brought Israel up out of Egypt, and I delivered you from the power of Egypt and all the kingdoms that oppressed(A) you.’ 19 But you have now rejected(B) your God, who saves(C) you out of all your disasters and calamities. And you have said, ‘No, appoint a king(D) over us.’(E) So now present(F) yourselves before the Lord by your tribes and clans.”
20 When Samuel had all Israel come forward by tribes, the tribe of Benjamin was taken by lot.
