16 Now Saul and his son Jonathan and the people who were present with them were staying in (A)Geba of Benjamin while the Philistines camped at Michmash. 17 And (B)the [a]raiders came from the camp of the Philistines in three [b]companies: one [c]company turned [d]toward (C)Ophrah, to the land of Shual, 18 and another [e]company turned [f]toward (D)Beth-horon, and another [g]company turned [h]toward the border which overlooks the valley of (E)Zeboim toward the wilderness.

Israel Without Weapons
16 Saul and his son Jonathan and the men with them were staying in Gibeah[a](A) in Benjamin, while the Philistines camped at Mikmash. 17 Raiding(B) parties went out from the Philistine camp in three detachments. One turned toward Ophrah(C) in the vicinity of Shual, 18 another toward Beth Horon,(D) and the third toward the borderland overlooking the Valley of Zeboyim(E) facing the wilderness.
