18 and another [a]company turned to the way of (A)Beth-horon, and another [b]company turned to the way of the border which overlooks the valley of (B)Zeboim toward the wilderness.
19 Now (C)no blacksmith could be found in all the land of Israel, for the Philistines said, “Lest the Hebrews make [c](D)swords or spears.” 20 So all Israel went down to the Philistines, each to sharpen his plowshare, his mattock, his axe, and his [d]goad.

18 another toward Beth Horon,(A) and the third toward the borderland overlooking the Valley of Zeboyim(B) facing the wilderness.
19 Not a blacksmith(C) could be found in the whole land of Israel, because the Philistines had said, “Otherwise the Hebrews will make swords or spears!(D)” 20 So all Israel went down to the Philistines to have their plow points, mattocks, axes and sickles[a] sharpened.
