1 Samuel 13:18-20
New American Standard Bible
18 and another [a]company turned [b]toward (A)Beth-horon, and another [c]company turned [d]toward the border that overlooks the Valley of (B)Zeboim toward the wilderness.
19 Now (C)no blacksmith could be found in all the land of Israel, because the Philistines said, “Otherwise the Hebrews will make [e](D)swords or spears.” 20 So all Israel went down to the Philistines, each to sharpen his plowshare, his mattock, his axe, and his hoe.

19 Not a blacksmith(C) could be found in the whole land of Israel, because the Philistines had said, “Otherwise the Hebrews will make swords or spears!(D)” 20 So all Israel went down to the Philistines to have their plow points, mattocks, axes and sickles[a] sharpened.
