7 Also some of the Hebrews crossed the Jordan into the land of (A)Gad and Gilead. But as for Saul, he was still in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling.
8 Now (B)he waited seven days, according to the appointed time set by Samuel, but Samuel did not come to Gilgal; and the people were scattering from him. 9 So Saul said, “Bring to me the burnt offering and the peace offerings.” And (C)he offered the burnt offering.

7 Some Hebrews even crossed the Jordan to the land of Gad(A) and Gilead.
Saul remained at Gilgal, and all the troops with him were quaking(B) with fear. 8 He waited seven(C) days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter. 9 So he said, “Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered(D) up the burnt offering.
