19 As Saul was speaking to the priest, the confusion in the Philistine camp kept getting worse, so Saul said to him, “There's no time to consult the Lord!” 20 Then he and his men marched into battle against the Philistines, who were fighting each other in complete confusion. 21 Some Hebrews, who had been on the Philistine side and had gone with them to the camp, changed sides again[a] and joined Saul and Jonathan.

19 While Saul was talking to the priest, the tumult in the Philistine camp increased more and more. So Saul said to the priest,(A) “Withdraw your hand.”

20 Then Saul and all his men assembled and went to the battle. They found the Philistines in total confusion, striking(B) each other with their swords. 21 Those Hebrews who had previously been with the Philistines and had gone up with them to their camp went(C) over to the Israelites who were with Saul and Jonathan.
