⁴⁷After Saul had assumed rule over Israel, he fought against their enemies on every side: Moab,^(A) the Ammonites,^(B) Edom,^(C) the kings^[a] of Zobah,^(D) and the Philistines. Wherever he turned, he inflicted punishment on them.^[b]
