1 Samuel 15:30-32
International Standard Version
30 “I’ve sinned,” Saul[a] said. “But please honor me now before the elders of my people and before Israel, and return with me so I may worship the Lord your God.” 31 Samuel returned, following Saul, and Saul worshipped the Lord.
Samuel Executes King Agag
32 Then Samuel said, “Bring Agag king of Amalek to me.”
Agag came to him in fetters, saying to himself,[b] “Surely the bitterness of death is past.”
